Monday, February 6: Tip Your Hat to Kindness

Tuesday, February 7: Homestead Kids Are Kind Kids
What if you could change the world? You can! We challenge you to perform as many kind deeds as you can. Think outside of the box and try to perform good deeds that you don’t normally do. As you complete them, write them down on the Kindness Thermometer and color it in. Return these to school by Monday, February 6. We can’t wait to see what everyday actions you do to make a difference! Below are a list of ideas to get you started.
-smile at 3 people
-write someone a kind note
-call a family member you haven’t talked to in awhile
-make a new friend
-hold the door open for someone
-play with a new friend at recess
-do a chore without being asked
Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.
